Dreams are simultanously a confirmation and a refutation of reality; a thin line between what is and what isn’t, between actuality and potentiality. And in this sense, one can say that dreams are a force propelling Now towards the Future.
When reading “Dreams” regarding the importance of conceptualizing and visualizing not the world as it is but the world as it should be, I am reminded of the character, Don Quixote created by Cervantes. I found this persona to be a metaphor for the absolute necessity of dreaming and hoping. Without “Dreams” there could not be “I Dream A World”.
